Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – kelaa Mgouna – Boumalne – Dades Gorges:
On this Sahara Desert Tours Marrakech, we accord you a warm welcome either at Marrakesh airport or at your hotel. Then begin this spiritual journey to the ancient caravan town of Ouarzazate ( it is situated at the eastern Atlas Mountains foothills). It is also known as the Gateway to the Sahara. You’ll enjoy the remarkable landscape of the magnificent high Atlas Mountains. Afterwards, we move to the Berber town of Taddert after we cross the 2260m high Tizi-in-Tichka pass. After traveling for a while we arrive in the legendary Ait Benhaddou, an intriguing castle of red earth, which is one of several structures lining the old Kasbah roads and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After enjoying lunch, we move on our trip towards Ouarzazate which is the Hollywood of Africa and from there we continue to Kalaat Mgouna through the “Road of thousand Kasbahs”. We will enjoy the fascinating view of the “sand castles”. In fact Kalaat Mgouna is “the Rose City”, which holds an annual rose festival in the month of May during the harvest time. Finally the journey ends for the day at a hotel located in the heart of Dades Gorge, after enjoying dinner.
Day 2: Dades Gorges– Boumlane – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga:
The day starts with breakfast and a drive back through the spectacular valley to view the incredible rock formation named “monkey toes” and Ait Yul, a 19th Century kasbah. We then move on towards to Tinrghir and Todra Valley. We enjoy the picturesque sights of the ancient mud villages of Berber overlooking the Dades valley. Upon reaching the Toudra Gorge, we take a stroll beneath the 300m high red cliff, a favored destination of rock climbers. After that move on to Erfoud and Rissani and after enjoying lunch continue to Merzouga village. From here we continue the journey on camel back to reach Erg-Chebbi the famous home of the sand-sea before retiring for the night beneath the starry sky with stars or, on the other hand inside a customary Berber traveler tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate:
Our journey starts with the magnificent view of sunrise in the Sahara Desert. Then we take the camel ride back to Merzouga, where we enjoy breakfast and then move on to Rissani, which was once known as Sijilmassa and is the foundation place of the current ruling dynasty, namely the Alaouite dynasty. We then move on towards Agdez passing Alnif and Tazarine on the way. We will cross the fascinating Draa valley, located at the edge of the Atlas Mountains and renowned for being home to hundreds of Berber Kasbahs, before ending our journey at Ouarzazate
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis – Tifoultoute – Marrakech:
This day of Sahara Desert Tours Marrakech, begins with breakfast followed by a trip to the beautiful Fint Oasis. It is located within a wadi surrounded by lofty mountains. Bordering the Oasis are four small villages, whose inhabitants have been living here peacefully for ages sustained by its natural resources. Before the tour ends in Marrakesh, you get to enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the amazing landscapes that intersperse the twisted roads passing through Berber villages. Finally our tour ends.
Things Included In The Sahara Desert Tours Marrakech:
You will be provided transportation in 4X4 AC vehicles and an English speaking driver and guide will be provided for every day of the trip. The package cost will also include the charges for vehicle fuels also dinner and breakfast in hotels. The charges for camel ride through the desert will also be included in the overall costs a will be the cost of tents in Oasis with the Berbers.
